adding this in case anyone loses track of it over the course of the summer:

Hello Printer B,

I am part of a comics studio course at Michigan State University and we are interested in soliciting quote for an upcoming book project. We would like this to be offset printed with the specifications listed below:

Size: 9”x6”

Page Count: 200pgs

Interior: 1/1 text/interior pages (Black ink on white paper)

Cover: 4/1 (Full-color Front w/ black and white on inside cover)

Quantity: 500, 1000, 2000 copies

Paper stock: Cover- Satin finish cardstock (please suggest an appropriate heavy weight paper)

Paper stock: Interior/text – not glossy, white, reasonable (please suggest an appropriate medium weight paper)

Cover: French-folds/Gate Fold (cover extends 2.5” beyond trim size but is folded under so that it is flush w/ trim size.) We would like this project quoted with and without french-folds.

Once you receive print-ready artwork, what is the turn-around time to receive these books in Lansing, MI?
